901 Heavy Hitters

Finally! After four years as the house band at world-famous Alfred’s on Beale Street, the 901 Heavy Hitters are available to play events worldwide. For years, Memphians and tourists alike would have a blast with this band every weekend. Couples would beg them to play their wedding receptions, and gala chairmen would ask them to perform at their fancy parties. But the band had to turn them all down, since they were locked into a multi-year contract at the nightclub. Not any more! The tightest, funkiest, most versatile, and most talented band in Memphis is raring to go and available only from Riggs Entertainment. Featuring amazing male and female vocals, the hottest rhythm section in the South, two horn players, and a full-time DJ to spin before, during, and after the band, the 901 Heavy Hitters will knock your event out of the park. They are the ideal band for wedding receptions and special events, with a repertoire that can please everyone from teens to grandparents. If you’ve seen some popular Memphis party bands through the years, you’ll recognize several of these performers, as this truly is an All-Star version of the city’s top soul/R&B/party/dance bands.
