Boxcar Bar + Arcade is a wedding and pre-wedding event venue in downtown Durham, NC. Our 1,500-square-foot private event space is full of character and connected to our main bar and arcade through a private door, making it easy to break away and have some fun. With room to comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests, a private bar, a variety of seating options, audio & visual hookups, and an affordable price point, this space is perfect for bridal showers, bachelorette/bachelor parties, engagement parties, and even the wedding itself. Boasting a chic urban vibe, the space is open-plan with large garage-style windows flooding the space with natural light. The vibe is characterized further by industrial piping, high ceilings, dangling Edison bulbs, red brick walls, and custom graffiti art that gives a unique edge to the aesthetic. We offer a featured event package that includes private bar service and custom menu options, including scratch-made pizzas, soft pretzels, and homemade salads.
