+9Hi there! My name is Cheryl Quinn and I am a makeup artist located in Charleston, South Carolina. With over 20 years experience, I began my career working as a specialist for Chanel, Trish McEvoy and Bobbi Brown in luxury retailers such as Saks Fifth Ave and Barney's flagship store in NYC. My clients included notable celebrities and private clients while doing weddings in some of the most gorgeous venues in and around Manhattan. My makeup style is timeless and elegant, and is based on bringing your inner beauty to the surface, while making for a pretty, fresh, and clean look. I have given Masterclasses on application from everyday looks to evening drama, as well as doing makeup for charity events such as Breast Cancer Awareness and Dressed for Success. Most recently my work has been featured on the cover of Charleston Weddings Magazine, A Lowcountry Wedding Magazine, Skirt! Magazine, Elysian and Glady Magazines. Previous work has been featured in Vanity Fair and Hamptons Magazine. While my main passion is for weddings, I have also had the privilege recently to work on projects with Draper James, The Home Edit, Eva Chen, The Woodhouse Day Spa, IBUmovement, South Carolina Federal Credit Union, Mason Hosker, Magnolia Rouge and Charleston Magazine.

Cheryl was such a joy to have while we got ready for our wedding day. Not only is she a spectacular make up artist, but she also brought so much fun and laughter into the morning. All of our make up was stunning. Our make up enhanced our natural features without looking overdone. I never wear dramatic looks, and she was able to give me professional bridal make up, that showed up great in pictures, but it still felt like “me.” She made sure everyone was touched up and looking their best for pictures. We called her the “blush fairy” as she went around and touched up everyone’s blush. She made the morning so easy and fun while still providing top quality service.
Cheryl is just a wonderful human being and she's so talented at what she does! She was so much fun to have around on the wedding day and during my makeup trial. She truly makes you feel and look like yourself, but elevated! My makeup lasted all night and I've never felt more beautiful. I had a trial with her months before the wedding and when she saw me on the wedding day with a tan and highlights she adjusted my makeup to match with ease!
Cheryl not only is amazing at what she does, but she is an incredible person to be around on your wedding day! I am someone who does not wear a lot of make up and when I do I typically go for a natural look. Cheryl far exceeded my expectations for how I wanted to look on my wedding day- a glam version of myself! She was AMAZING to work with! She was thoughtful, considerate and always took my feedback and ran with it in the best way! She just knew what I wanted! All of my girls looked absolutely stunning and beautiful versions of themselves! My make up looked flawless and lasted the entire wedding (10+ hours) without budging. She stayed for touch ups after first looks to ensure everything stayed perfect. I can't thank her enough!!
I am just realizing that I never wrote a review for Cheryl after my April 2023 wedding. Cheryl is a makeup queen. She brings the best energy and makes everyone look and feel so beautiful. She did my makeup for engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding- and I’ve never looked better. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup so I was nervous about looking too made up but Cheryl is so great about using just enough to play up your best features. And my makeup lasted all night! I highly recommend Cheryl to all brides.
