Wedding vendors

Wedding vendors in Jackson, WY

Jackson Hole is a destination wedding valley at 6,200 feet with the Tetons on one side and the National Elk Refuge on the other, and it runs on a short calendar. The season is mid-June through September, with wildflowers in July and gold aspens in the last two weeks of September, then a quiet shoulder before the ski lifts open in December. Couples marry at ski-resort lodges in Teton Village, on ranches around Wilson and Moose, at permitted sites inside Grand Teton National Park, and in Jackson itself around the antler arches of the Town Square. The vendor market is small and many teams drive in from Salt Lake City and Idaho Falls, so the ranges below borrow from our Salt Lake City data. Here's what a Jackson Hole wedding actually costs, where couples get married, and when to book.

When to book in Jackson

The window is mid-June through September, and Saturdays at the resort lodges and ranches book 12 to 18 months ahead, with the last two weeks of September, when the aspens turn, the most sought-after of the year. Lodging is the real constraint: summer rooms are few and expensive, so secure a room block before the venue contract is dry. Afternoon thunderstorms are routine in July and August and nights drop near freezing even midsummer, so plan heaters and a tent. Fall Arts Festival in mid-September and the Fourth of July stretch the town, and the Christmas-to-New-Year ski weeks are winter's priciest. October and May are quiet, with many businesses closed.

Common questions

Jackson doesn't have enough priced vendors in our data yet to show its own ranges, so the table above borrows from our Salt Lake City data, which covers many of the vendors who travel to Teton weddings. Jackson Hole is a resort market, and resort lodges, peak-summer Saturdays and anything inside the national park tend to land at the top of these ranges or beyond them, while Star Valley and Teton Valley venues bring things back down. Travel fees for out-of-valley vendors and lodging for guests are the two costs couples most often underestimate. Use the ranges as a starting point, and Our Day negotiates exclusive rates on your behalf.
