Wedding vendors in Roanoke, VA
Roanoke is the Blue Ridge wedding town. Couples marry Downtown in the old rail warehouses and market district under the Mill Mountain star, up on the Parkway at overlooks and mountaintop farms toward Bent Mountain and Floyd, on the water at Smith Mountain Lake, and in the valley barns and vineyards of Botetourt, Salem and Catawba. Venues aren't in the ranges below, but photographers and planners here price toward the higher end of what we see in the region, while DJs and hair and makeup stay easy. Most of the vendors in our Roanoke data are claimed Our Day partners. Here's what a Roanoke wedding actually costs, where couples are getting married, and when to book, plus a shortcut to vetted, available Roanoke vendors matched to your date and budget.

When to book in Roanoke
Roanoke's peak is late April through June and again late September through October, and a Parkway or lake Saturday in those windows goes 12 months or more ahead. The trap is Virginia Tech home football: Blacksburg is forty minutes away, but Roanoke's hotels sell out on those Saturdays and shuttle rates climb. The Blue Ridge Marathon in April, FloydFest in July and the GO Outside Festival in October have the same effect for a weekend. Mid-October fall color is the most requested date of the year. Winter is mild in the valley and cheap, though the Parkway itself can close for snow and ice.
