The DC Marriage Knot

Rev. Starlene Joyner Burns is an ordained Spiritual Science minister who has been officiating weddings since 2004. She has performed more than 1,500 ceremonies throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. In 2006, she founded SJB Ministries, LLC, DBA The DC Marriage Knot, through which she provides professional wedding officiant services. Her years of experience have given her a deep understanding of the different personalities, traditions, circumstances, and expectations couples bring to their wedding day. Known for her warm and personable approach, Rev. Starlene works with couples to create ceremonies that reflect their individual vision and relationship. Through The DC Marriage Knot, she has officiated secular, spiritual, and religious ceremonies for couples from diverse backgrounds. Her experience includes intimate elopements, simple marriage-signing services, traditional wedding ceremonies, and larger celebrations. Rev.
