The National Steeplechase Museum

The National Steeplechase Museum is a venue located in the heart of Camden, South Carolina, the state’s oldest inland town. This unique venue is the only museum in the United States that is dedicated solely to highlighting the history and legacy of steeplechasing. The museum traces the sport’s origins in the British Isles to the present day and pays homage to its great athletes, both equine and human. Along with hosting special events, the property also houses the Springdale Race Course on its sweeping and verdant grounds. With historic Springdale Race Course right off the back terrace, the Museum offers up a beautiful setting for weddings and parties of all types.
