Weddings in the Grove at Richard Bland College

Weddings in the Grove offers the perfect venue for a wedding with multiple settings for your special day. Located in Prince George County Virginia on the campus of Richard Bland College of William & Mary. The first site is our most popular- The Pecan Grove. This historic grove is the largest of it's kind in Virginia and provides the ideal space for ceremonies. The Asian Water Garden, which is just beyond the grove boasts a magical setting adorned with beautiful seasonal flowers, pristine landscaping, & multiple bridges which provide a spectacular aesthetic to accommodate various wedding entrances and ceremonies. Finally, The Gazebo, framed by an 1800’s Farmhouse with an overlooking porch, is situated on ample grounds for an intimate ceremony. For your reception, walk through the water garden to The Barn - a rustic, warm & cozy place just waiting for you to dress up with your imagination. It can accommodate 100 guests. The inside features beautiful chandelier lighting, various set ups & a bridal suite.
