Wedding vendors in Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins pairs a walkable historic downtown with the foothills right at the city's edge. Couples marry in Old Town's restored storefronts and brewery taprooms, on the ridges above Horsetooth Reservoir, along the Cache la Poudre River as it comes out of the canyon, and at the farms and barns around Wellington, Windsor and Loveland. Colorado State sets the town's rhythm, and Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are about an hour southwest for couples who want a mountain-town weekend. Our Fort Collins data is still growing, so the cost ranges below come from Denver, an hour south. Here's what to expect from a Fort Collins wedding, where couples are getting married, and when to book, plus a shortcut to vetted, available Fort Collins vendors matched to your date and budget.

Where couples get married in Fort Collins

Old Town & Downtown

Historic storefronts, brewery taprooms and courtyard venues in the walkable core, with the campus crowd and hotels close by.

Horsetooth & the foothills

Reservoir overlooks, ranches and open-space venues west of town, where the plains meet the first ridge of the Rockies.

The Poudre Canyon & Red Feather Lakes

Riverside lodges and mountain cabins up the canyon, cooler in summer and a proper destination for a small weekend wedding.

Windsor, Loveland & the farms

Barns, orchards and lakeside venues in the farm country south and east of the city, usually with easier parking and minimums.

When to book in Fort Collins

Fort Collins is busiest June through September, and Horsetooth and canyon venues book 12 months or more ahead for a summer Saturday. Snow is possible into May and again from October, so spring and fall ceremonies outdoors need a backup, and wildfire smoke can dull late-summer skies. Colorado State graduation in May and Rams home games in the fall fill the city's hotels. Winter dates are easy to secure and often cheaper, particularly for indoor venues downtown, and a snowy Old Town makes for good photos.

Common questions

Our Fort Collins data doesn't yet have enough priced vendors to publish local ranges, so the figures above come from our Denver data, an hour south and the nearest metro with enough pricing. Plenty of Denver vendors work Northern Colorado weddings, so the ranges travel reasonably well; read them as a guide rather than a quote. The venue and catering drive most of the total, and guest count is the biggest lever. Our Day negotiates exclusive rates on your behalf.
